Area Sales Manager

The Company

Established over 30 years ago and being a highly reputable global leader in manufacture, distribution and service of electronic & electrical test tools and with a turnover of in excess of £125 million in Europe. My client is seeking a South East Area Sales Manager to join this highly successful and thriving business who will have an opportunity to rapidly progress their career and be in receipt of a world renowned level of training.

The Role

You will be personally responsible for the sales growth in the South East of England. This will be secured through new business success and on-going account management. You will possess the ability to talk to customers, on a technical level at all levels. They are currently running a long term initiative with the intention to have someone promoted to a management role in the not so distant future.

The Requirements

The successful applicant must, as a minimum, hold the following requirements for the last 3 years:

• A proven track record in the sale of technical products primarily into the Food and Healthcare markets,
• Be based on patch and ideally in Northamptonshire/Buckinghamshire
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• An engaging and outgoing personality
• The desire and commitment to deliver superior results

In addition to the above the candidate will also possess some of the following:

• An electrical/electronic/temperature/sensing related product
• Experience in sales and contractual negotiations
• Excellent communication skills
• Extensive sales experience
• Engaging and outgoing personality, be a good team player and possess the desire and commitment to deliver superior results
