RF Test Engineer – Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for RF Test Team Leaders for our client who continues to go from strength to strength and has seen some substantial growth over the last 12 months even in these unprecedented times & show no sign of stopping with securing new projects.

You will be responsible for the commissioning and testing of DAS Systems for our client and the following responsibilities:

• Being a trusted advisor/go-to person on a range of mobile/wireless engineering projects
• Being a subject matter expert in the field – understanding the equipment and technologies
• Design, test and commission of DAS Systems
• Designing and performing RF surveys and transmission network design and optimization
• Preparing all client related engineering reports
• Perform simulations / create models for RF design
• Meet with vendors and technology suppliers to select components to be used in solutions

Additionally you will also be responsible for leading a small team of engineers and therefore require experience as follows:

• Proven record of managing a team of engineers
• Writing up of all reports on a daily basis and managing team admin

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Must have knowledge of RF
• Commissioning and testing experience on DAS Systems (Cobham and/or Commscope)
• Must have PIM & Sweep Testing experience
• Experience of managing a small team with all admin associated to the team
• Be willing to work nights – 11pm – 4am
• Located in London
• Authorised to work in the UK and possesses fluent English verbal and written skills
• Driving license an advantage
