RF Test Technician

The Company

My client is an international market leader specialising within the electronic Test and Measurement industry who has recently been benefiting from excellent growth and they are now looking to offer an RF Test Technician an opportunity to become part of this success story.

The Role

You will be personally responsible to calibrate and perform minor repairs to customer’s equipment in an effective and timely manner. In addition to this you will need to have a good technical understanding of RF/Microwave products.

• To initially calibrate test equipment using a semi-automatic Calibration system for:
  • DMM
  • Power Quality Analyser’s
  • Torque equipment
• To calibrate
  • Sitemasters
  • Narda’s
  • Crimp tools
• To prioritise workload so that customer requirements and Laboratory turnaround objectives are achieved
• Ensure company standards of quality coupled with safety are strictly adhered too
• To write calibration records
• To maintain tools
• To maintain test equipment – ensuring it is suitable for its requirements
• To support calibration work on-site at the customer’s premises

Candidate’s Profile:

• Essential
  • HNC or Degree or City & Guilds in Electronics
  • Experience in RF/Microwave/Optical products
