Sales Application Engineer

The Company:

Our client is one of the major providers of electronic test and measurement equipment, there continued and ongoing expansion has now brought about a pressing requirement for an Electronics Graduate to focus upon applications support and sales of RF, microwave and optical test devices for the international markets.

The Role:

You will be personally responsible for sales and technical support across a range of countries, involving a combination of new business development and existing account consolidation, primarily via telephone and in conjunction with a field sales counterpart operating within the region. This will clearly require an individual with both the commercial skills to close for business but also the ability to converse with authority on technical matters.

The Candidate:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of RF, microwave and/or optical technologies and ideally have some sales experience. Candidates should be based in, near or re-locatable to the company’s headquarters around Harrow.

Requirements:

• Educated to HNC/HND or Degree level within Electronics Engineering
• Knowledge of Telecommunications or Electronic Test & Measurement technologies and their applications
• Experience within the Test and Measurement industry would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• An engaging and outgoing personality
• The desire and commitment to deliver superior results
• The adaptability to work efficiently both in a team scenario and also autonomously
