Quality Manager

The Company:

Established in the early 1900’s, our client is a leading supplier of components, raw materials and precision engineering services into the Automotive, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Heavy Industry, MoD, Aerospace and Defence markets globally. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be solely responsible for implementing, developing, auditing, evaluating and successfully managing all quality policies and procedures within the company.

The Role:

• Act as the in-house expert for all Quality procedures and policies
• Implement, maintain, audit and update all quality policies and procedures (TS16949) within the site
• Manage, inspect and audit all quality regulations (ISO:9001, 14001, 18001 and TS16949)
• Implement, maintain and update all Risk procedures
• Audit and manage all Health and Safety policies and procedures

The Requirements:

• Degree educated to a degree level in engineering, manufacturing subject (advantageous although not essential)
• NEBOSH & IOSH registered/certified (advantageous although not essential)
• Sound working knowledge of TS16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO18001
• Experience auditing, evaluating and managing ISO & TS procedures & policies
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience working within a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma certified
• Experience of lean manufacturing, continuous improvements, supplier, customer and manufacturing quality polices/procedures
