Cabling Installer

The role involves heavy cable pulling, either with assist equipment or by hand, jointing at internal & external locations and identifying cables/parts of cables to be worked on in various locations and environments.

Candidate will be fully fit with a positive attitude, self-motivated, conscientious and able to demonstrate knowledge and experience within the following skill profile:

• Experience of installing cables in an underground network
• Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and works instructions
• Experience of rodding and roping, installing cables and subduct into existing duct network
• Experience in locating blockages and producing blockate clearance diagrams
• Ability to work in varying field environments
• Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs, data recordings and network design maps
• Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies

Requirements:

• Full Valid Driving Licence
• Completed Confined Spaces Training
• Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and works instructions

Ideal

• Those with experience of working on London Underground, Rail or TFL related contracts would be desirable
