Product Marketing Executive

The Company:

One of the major test equipment companies in Europe. Our client is an instantaneously recognisable Test Equipment provider. With local offices in most major countries they support businesses in Telecommunications, Defence & Aerospace, Electronics and Industrial Installation.

The Role:

• Complete day-to-day management of the company’s online product database, ensuring that it is as accurate and as up-to-date as possible.More specifically, this includes:
  • Identifying and uploading new products, images, videos, datasheets and brochures
  • Writing summaries of the key features, benefits and specifications
  • Create and maintain Category and Applications listings for each product
  • Create and maintain web site search priorities for each Category and Application group
  • Create and maintain product pages on our web site
  • Create and maintain product, pricing and availability on a weekly basis
• Manage internally promotional activities for products, company news, sales tools etc.
• Create product-based e-mail campaigns
• Search Engine Optimisation (both on-site and off-site SEO)
• Represent our client on social media (Linkedin / Twitter / Blogs / Forums) with technical content
• Provide ideas for technical PR articles and press release
• Provide assistance to the Marketing Communications Manager as and when required
• Provide marketing assistance to the group’s sales teams

The Requirements:

• Knowledge/understanding of electronics/telecoms equipment as used by Engineers
• Content Management System (CMS) skills (to manage the online product database)
• Modern marketing communications tools and techniques
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
• e-commerce
• Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office (incl. MS Access DB)
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Executor who follows the developed strategy
• Takes responsibility

• Ability to meet deadlines

Desirable skills & knowledge

• European Languages: German, French, Dutch, Spanish
